Echo Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hugh Foundit: Looks like this one has gone missing. I'll open the area to other geocachers who have the desire to hide a cache in this beatiful park.

Sorry to all those who searched in vain. Feel free to log a find. You were searching for a 35mm cannister about 2' off the ground near the trunk of the evergreen tree.

Geocache Description:

Echo Park adjacent to Echo Lake is a favorite spot for the locals. Here they like to come and fish over the nearby dam or just sit and reflect on a park bench. A nearby playground offers a safe place for the young to play.

Across the street from the park is one of my favorite places to stop for frozen custard. This locally owned business operates seasonally from early March to late November and has a flavor of the day custard that is to die for.

In early May, this park in the central location for Burlington’s Chocolate Festival. This park will also host many weekend craft fairs throughout the summer months. In the winter, after the lake has frozen over, the city will clear a portion on the lake for ice skaters and hockey players.
