Should be a quick find in beautiful Noyo Harbor.
The Fort Bragg, Mendocino area is one of our families favorite places to visit. The rugged coastline, uncrowded beaches, quaint shops and restaurants make it a wonderful vacation destination. We even went on our Honeymoon here in 1991 when we were just the 2 Bucks.
After finding most of the caches in the area on our recent visit, we were surprised to find that Noyo Harbor did not have any hides. So, we decided to leave one of our own.
It should be a quick find for you, and away from the businesses, but be careful, as muggles are always around. Team SageFox has graciously agreed to help with cache maintenance since we live 4 hours away. Thanks TSF! Make sure to look for their many great caches in the area while you are there.
There are some great places to eat, especially good is the locally caught seafood. You can also go out on a fishing or whale watching trip on one of the many chartered boats. There is a neat shop that sells wood carving art that is amazing, as well as a great view to observe the many seabirds, seals, and other wildlife. The Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell movie "Overboard" had some scenes shot here.
Overall, it is a nice place, hope you enjoy it.
