Well it has bee a while since team YD has hidden a cache.
Unfortunately the lead member of the team YD, Yellowdog him self contracted
The evil cancer and crossed the ”rainbow bridge” on March 17 2004(see our profile for more info)
It has been tough to play with out my best buddy, but a few months ago…..
A little 2yr yellow lab named Grace found her way to me.
And she wants to play !!!
So.
We decided to make a great cache in honor of YELLOWDOG
I am placing YD9 near the first cache team yd hid for a few reasons
It’s a great place for dog teams and its close to the home base so I can keep an eye on it and refill it with what I think is the best find your team will ever find.
A mini cd that play in all cd trays on your computer there are both mac an PC format so be sure to pick the right one and be sure to read the “read me” file to view the video
This will also be an awesome find for the first few to get there.
As always there are replica treasure coins from the Atocha and one from the 1715 fleet
BUT this time there is a GENUINE CERTIFIED with C.O.A. ATOCHA COIN
It is in fragments but it is the real thing. A true treasure for some one to find
And since you can’t have treasure coins with out jewels there are some raw emeralds in the cache also and we all know how pirates like their rum but since I don’t have a barrel of rum I put in a barrel of monkeys. lol
There are lots of other cool things stashed in side including a mystery travel bug that I found in my old cache bag. Who ever picks this one up if you do the homework you’ll find it s origin??? So have fun!!! and of course some pictures of the great one. PELASE be sure to cover it back up to prevent mugglers
