This cache is part of the Sunrise Side Special Places series.
Each cache in this series will be found in out of the way parks and
other no fee public recreation areas on the Sunrise Side of
Michigan that you might otherwise just drive right by.
Located right across from the Arenac County Historical Museum,
Kinder Platz Park in Au Gres is a very peaceful setting where you
can have a picnic, let the kids play, and check out an old church,
dating back to 1919 that was moved to this park five years ago. The
arch over the walkway was by the church at its original location,
which was on Tonkey Road, 6-8 miles northeast of Au Gres.
