Geocache Description:

Family friendly. Winter accessible. No permit required. No bushwacking or XC.

The Giant of Elm Creek has fallen and he can't get up. You may have heard of the giant's legendary treasure that is now apparently unguarded. The treasure is rumored to be well hidden near his final resting place, but you'll need a little information to help you find it:

How old was the giant when he fell? Add his age to the year that he fell. Subtract 1790. This is A.

Subtract 343 from the number of baseball bats the giant could make. Put a zero in front of that number (example: 61 becomes 061). This is B.

The final coordinates of the treasure:

N 45 09.A

W 093 27.B

Please note you do not need to enter the Eastman Nature Center to get the final coordinate information.

This cache has been approved by Three Rivers Park District and complies with park guidelines for geocaching. Cache is within 25 feet of an established trail (anti-muggle stealth may be required). NO bushwacking or XC.

Park is open dawn until dusk (gated). Please CITO always.
