Geocache Description:

(May I ask the next intrepid Geocacher to bring a simple container with a log sheet along🤔? Please replace it if needed😍!)
Why should I go up to "Glacier Rock"* into freezing cold Ice Age, you may ask yourself. Look at the photo above! The bold rock looks really tempting, not cold at all. You may then question what the strange name derives from.* As a well earned reward for your arduous effort it does also offer one of Cairns' best views from 420 m ASL. Several trails intersect nearby. The terrain is from easy to steep depending on your trail choice. You should consider at least three hours. The view from there, particularly in the early morning, is breathtaking.
If you continue some hundred metres you will come to a rocky outcrop from where you can see the magnificent arched bridge over Stoney Creek, with the eponymous falls behind. And if you are really lucky you can even see a tourist train rolling over it like a giant lindworm. Listen for the noise of it from afar and be patient.
As to the cache, please rehide it inconspicuously so that muggles can't see and take it away.
*) If you happen to know the origin of the name "Glacier Rock", please tell us your explanation!
The Aboriginal name would also be of very high interest.
