Follow Robber Roost, Hans Flat road east from Hwy 24, Keep right at Horseshoe canyon junct. Turn South at 38-15.973N 110-16.109W at Twin Corral Flat go to Sams Mesa.
This cache is at the entrance to the last stronghold of Robbers Roost. Of course the road was not here in the 1890s. One outlaw with a rifle, on the rim of the next mesa, will keep you and your posse right where your at. No lawman of those days ever made it this far into the infamos Robbers Roost.
This is a regular cache with a map. ranger cd, and some other stuff. You need a reliable high clearance vehicle , some water, your as far from town as you can get!. Please take time to enjoy the view of Happy Canyon and Sams Mesa box canyon. If you see Cap Brown, Silvertip, or Butch Cassidy, you better hunt your hole.
