Hansina Jorgenson is a hobbit who trades items for a living in a beautiful forest in Hazel Dell, Washington. Her hideout is known to a few. Are you worthy of finding it?
Hansina Jorgenson has spent ages teleporting between our world and Middle Earth. Times have been tough for her in Middle Earth over the past century or so, ever since humans stopped believing in the inhabitants of Middle Earth. To make a living, Hansina established a trading post where she trades personal items for stuff she can sell for a profit in Middle Earth.
Will you help her?
In order to find Hansina's Hideout, start at the coordinates above. The sign contains a telephone number. The last four digits of the number are A, B, C, and D respectively. Add A + B + D. This will give you your magnetic heading.
Travel 80 paces toward the above heading, until you find the Stone Giant's footprint. Note: A pace equals a normal stride for a 6-foot person.
Stand in the Stone Giant's Footprint, and look for Hansina's secret code etched into the bark of a tree. You will see two letters. Use the following table to replace the letters with numbers. A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on throughout the alphabet until you end up at Z=26. Add the two numbers to get a new magnetic heading.
Stand at the base of the tree with Hansina's code, and face in the direction of the above heading. Walk 50 paces to the hideout.
The cache is in a big ammo box, and will be tricky to get out of the hideout. Take it out from above. Please remember to return it where you found it, and replace the foliage.
