Geocache Description:

This is part of Egyptian Gods series. The above Co ordinates are not the location to the Cache, but a place in the general area. To find the location of the cache you will need to ask Shu Siblings, Nut and Geb, who both hold half of the Co-ordinates. For complete instructions and information regarding the cache, please see Egyptian Gods – Ra.

Shu God of Air (Twin of Tefnut)

Shu, along with his sister Tefnut, were the first deities to be created by Atum.

Shu was the god of dry air, wind and the atmosphere. He was the son of the creator god, Ra, father of the twins Nut (the sky) and the Geb (the earth) and married to Tefnut. He was one of the gods who protected Ra on his journey through the underworld, using magic spells to ward off Ra's enemy, the snake-demon Apoiphis.

Shu held up the figure of Nut so that the earth and the sky were separated.

One story says that Shu and Tefnut went to explore the waters of Nun. After a time, Ra believed that they were lost, and sent the his Eye out into the chaos to find them. When his children returned to him, Ra wept, and his tears were believed to have turned into the first humans.

Shu holds the West Co ordinates for his father Ra, which are in Egyptian numerals. The Crocodile God will lead you to the correct place.
