Geocache Description:

Bad Kitty Cache#1: The Fort
Traditional Cache - Tupperware style clear container.
First in a series of "Bad Kitty" Caches

During the summer of 1983, at the age of 14, three friends and I decided we were going to build a fort. We did not want to build your typical fort, so of course we did it the hard way - we built it underground. We spent all summer digging this hole - 4+ months building the fort. When we were complete, the hole was 20' x 15' with 3 rooms, 6 feet deep, completely waterproof and completely hidden. On Halloween of '83 we spent out first night in our new fort. It was a WILD time. We continued to occupy "The Fort" until we were old enough to drive

I placed a cache next to the remains of the fort. You will still see the old lumber we borrowed from the builders of Myers Estates. Oh if only that fort could talk. You will still see a huge hole right next to the cache. Enjoy the area and think of the teenage history here.
