A One Gallon Camoflaged Container
This should be a fairly easy find when you notice there is no more poison oak around.
The Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park has 1,006 acres of redwoods, conifers, oaks, sycamores, cottonwoods, maples, alders and willows - plus open meadows and a beautiful river and gorge area. Wildlife includes black-tail deer, gray squirrels, raccoons, skunks, and birds, such as water ouzels, belted kingfishers, and condors. Condors were reintroduced to Big Sur a few years ago. The program, managed by the Ventana Wilderness Society, is a great success. The birds can sometimes be seen perched atop the redwoods near the Big Sur Lodge or flying further south near Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.
This is one of our favorite State Parks that has great camping, hiking, swimming in the river and nice day use areas.
There is an $8 entrance fee unless you already have a State Park Pass. Recommended for all geocachers caching in State Parks.
