Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Access to this cache is via main tracks until the last 100m which involves a short trek up a man trampled path in rougher terrain.
This is easier in the winter when the undergrowth has died off and been trodden down, it can prove to be a bit of a challenge during the summer months when it can be overgrown making the cache harder to find.
This is our first cache.
It is placed in the Frimley Fuel Allotments. Its name derives from the time when locals were allowed to collect fallen wood for fuel. Each family entitled to collect fuel were "allotted" a particular area.
The area is now sourounded by Pine Ridge Golf Course and you may pass a few holes on your walk to the cache location.
The area is best accessed from a lay by on the Old Bisley Road, but can be easily approached from many different directions.
The cache is a typical tupperware container and is hidden about 100 meters off a main track. This cache can prove more of a challenge during the summer months when the bracken is fully grown and GPS signal can be patchy at the final location.
Please respect the area and wood land since it is a conservation site.
