Hidden next to a park and playground overlooking the Rideau River. If the parking lot is not accessible or full, do not park on the lane but rather at River Road.
This cache was originally hidden for the GAG 7 event.
This cache is within 0-25m of the posted coordinates. Stand at the posted coordinates and turn around 360 degrees. You should be able to see within your Line of Sight a Tag (LOST) marking where to enter the forest to get closer to the cache. The tag is large and much easier to see during the day. The entrance to the park is at N45°19.033' W75°41.514' and is very easy to miss. Highly recommended to park at N45°18.912' W75°41.723' before going into the forest.
The park contains an excellent boat ramp with two docks. Boaters have access from the Black Rapids Locks to the locks at Nicholls Island Rd. Several other caches seem to be hidden along this section of the canal system.
