Geocache Description:

Erratic behavior is accessed off the Kartar Valley Road on the Colville reservation. The short hike from the parking area has a short steep stretch, but should be accessible year-round.

Erratic. (1) adj. having no fixed course (2) transported from original resting place esp. by a glacier

We were inspired by this view to place our first cache. Little raven is interested in geology and earth sciences, so would like this to be a theme cache, trading items that are earth treasures and wonders. We have started the cache with some fossils, petrified wood, crystals, etc. Please humor us.

This site is well-known among locals and rock climbers who try to get a grip on this puzzler. Some folks try to resort to brute force, but the rock prevails. The view is lovely, and the swimming beach at the west end of the lake is terrific. For fishing buffs, this lake holds the record for the largest Lahontan Cutthroat caught in Washington State. Check your licensing before you cast, though, because this is on the Colville reservation and you need proper permits to fish.

A couple of words of warning:
1. There may be snakes in the warm months.
2. This is bear country, so absolutley nothing should go in the cache that is scented
3. This is a favorite party spot, so cover your tracks well.
