I See No Ships Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Thats The Badger: Having moved further away from this cache it has become too difficult to maintain, so I have decided to archive it.

Cheers to all that had a go at it!

Geocache Description:

A nice walk around Littleton-upon-Seven.

‘I see no ships’ is a multi cache consisting of one virtual, four micro caches (film canisters) and a final small cache (1.2L box). Parking is available near the virtual cache in Littleton-upon-Seven. The cache will take about 2hrs to complete.

The start is at the virtual cache which is the date on ‘Scrooges’ Chapel found at:
N51° 36.414, W002° 35.170.

The date follows the order ABCD, giving the position of the first micro cache at:
N5A°36.2BB, W35°.64(C-2).

Micro cache two gives the position of micro cache three, three gives the position of four and four gives the position of the final cache. Whilst visiting each micro cache keep note of all the letters as they will be required at the fourth cache to find the final cache. The micro caches have puzzles to solve to find the next cache, a simple calculator as found on most mobile phones may be handy. Please do not write the answer to the micro cache puzzle on the micro cache clue slip!

In order to find your way between each cache OS Landranger map 172 will prove useful, alternatively a print out from here will do just as well: -www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=51.6074&lon=-2.579&scale=25000&icon=x

The direct route is not always the quickest/best! (you should not need to climb over any barbed wire to find this cache, though sometimes barbed wire does seem to get put up across footpaths!). Please respect any livestock that maybe in the fields on the way to the cache.

This is my first attempt at a cache so any suggestions/comments will be greatly appreciated. Any problems please drop me an email for additional clues.
