1.5 miles past the junction of Hwy 88 and 89 on 88, turn onto
forest service road 079. Take the right fork, and all right fork
after, climb a slight rocky hill (2WD O.K.) and park in open area.
Walk along trail to seasonal creek, then climb along left bank.
Look for large split tree.
