This is the second year of playing soccer at this park. So, it calls for a second neat cache! This is a good family cache. Park the car at the baseball diamond lot. No parking on the side of the road. Follow the trail up the hill. (Near the drive.) *Mark your spot when leaving the path.* (I always forget.) Now, you have a short, off path walk. Follow the deer trails for an easier time. The kids (young and old) always enjoy a little off the path walking. (As long as it is not too far, and they wear long pants.)
The cache is a good, solid, old fashioned ammo box. Filled with good stuff to trade. A $5.00 first to find prize is located in the box too. First Finder will be listed on this page in bold for the next 100 years. Also, a camera is in the box. Take a picture and I will post it. The first Soccer Park Cache has some great pictures.
When placing the cache I could hear many Sandhill Cranes on the lake and geese flying overhead. Pretty neat!
