5 Bs Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mearth: Stopped to check on this one and couldn't find it. I'd been confused about the reference to brambles in an earlier post, but with blackberries, anything is possible with a season or two of negligence.

No brambles in the original hiding area at all. No cache either.

I hate to archive it when there's a good chance the cache is still there, somewhere, lurking as geotrash, but I hunted around a lot with no joy. Maybe the next person to place a cache in this groovy location will run across it?

Geocache Description:

Bluffs, bellies (airplane bellies, that is), boxes, and Bellingham Bay

Cache and dash? Not far off the beaten path so it could be a quickie. At coords, check the tree tops for bald eagles.

Nearby train tracks are very active. Some of the cars are small vehicles with chastising railroad guys aboard. Beyond the tracks, the bluffs drop abruptly (a long way) to the beach below. HEED THE SIGNS! The Locust Poke-us cache will appear to be nearby on your GPS. Don't be fooled into trying to thrash a route from here.

Cache container is a largish Tupperware box that can accomodate fairly large items, but is well-hidden.
