Long Ago the High
Priest Imhotep was in love. Her name was Ankhesenamun, the
most beautiful princess in all the land, and daughter of Queen
Nefertiti. Unfortunately, this princess was also the wife of
the King Tutankhamun.
Once this forbidden love was discovered by
the King, both Imhotep and Ankhesenamun were put to
death.
But what is death to a High Priest? It is
only a waiting game, and many centuries later some unknowing
archeologists, mistakenly uttering some ancient verses in the
priests tomb awoke him.
The centuries of entombment had weakened
Imhotep, and for decades he has been wandering the earth, in human
form, searching and waiting for others to find the remains of his
lost love Ankhesenamun.
Imhotep will endear himself with those who
seek the tomb of Ankhesenamun, and once led to the remains will use
his dark powers to resurrect his lost love, and together they will
rule mankind.
Hunt for the tomb if you must, be wary. Be
wary of those who help you, who follow you, who have endeared
themselves to you. Do you really know who they
are? |

DO NOT APPROACH FROM THE EAST (Over the tracks).
The trailhead can be found behind the Copeland Sports Complex, Park
at the North End of the parking lot.
You will find a trivia question in the cache, so you will need
to bring a notepad to record the question, and the possible
answers. The correct answer will be part of the clues to admit you
to the Monsters Ball.
It seems the city no longer cuts the grass on this part of
the trail. Recommend to do in the fall-spring, or be prepared to
grass-whack!
