U.S. Route 66 is affectionately called the "Mother Road." It
went from Chicago to Los Angeles. It was the subject of a TV show
and a popular song, "Get Your Kicks On Route 66." The highway has
been decommissioned and now, in Western Oklahoma, it is replaced by
Interstate 40. In most places I-40 was built right over the old
road. However, in some places you can still see the old road. Let's
go see it!!

The cache container is an m and m candy container. It is a
plastic tube about four inches long and about an inch in diameter.
There are no trading items or writing instrument. There's only a
log sheet.
Here the old road serves as a local rural road.
