 Six great heroes were summoned to the Island of
Mata Nui to awaken the Great Spirit, Mata Nui, who had been
put to sleep by his evil brother Makuta. This would free its
inhabitants, the Matoran and Rahi (wild beasts), from Makuta's
dark influence. These heroes, or Toa, do not remember or know
anything about their quest, except for vague memories.
Therefore, they will be taught of the legends by
the Matoran and their wise leaders, the Turaga. The Toa's first
task will be to collect the Kanohi Masks of Power to gain new
powers with which to defeat Makuta. The quest will not be easy. The
Kanohi Mask's are hidden in places that are all but impossible to
reach, and/or guarded by a Rahi that Makuta has infected and
enslaved to serve his evil will.
Each of the Toa will be called to a different
mission to retreave their Kanohi Mask. Once each of the six Toa
have found their mask, they will be able to stop Makuta's threat of
inslaving everything on the Island. There is a great battle on the
horizon. Will you be prepared to help them in their adventures?

This is the first puzzle in a series of puzzles
that will occur over time.
This cache is hidden off another hiking trail in
Rancho San Diego that we discovered through geocaching. Always use
caution on these trail for snakes and other wildlife.
The cache is well protected in a regular sized ammo
container and contains the usual geo-swag. Please use caution
around the cache site. This could be a dangerous location if you
are not aware of your surroundings (ie: night hunt). Be safe
