This cache is about 1/2 way along the trail to the "Bigfoot Cache" and the Bigfoot Trap. So now there are two caches to tempt you to see the trap. It is incredible that this was a serious attempt to catch Bigfoot. The trap certainly would have done it! This is the Applegate, watch for poison oak!
The cache is approximately 24 inches long by 4 inches in diameter. The top should open easy enough, but if needed, there is a tool attached to the cache to help. The difficulty rating is because of dense tree cover. It's really a pretty easy find once your GPSr gets you to the spot although watch for poison oak. Original contents included the log with a first finders magnet, tape measure, flashlight, music note hole punch, rubber dice, mini frisbee, sports watch key chain, motivational stickers, and two Travel Bugs. Please make sure to screw the top down to keep out rain. Thanks!
