Geocache Description:

In 1978 my grandfather, his brother-in-law and father-in-law all went in together and puchased a piece of property that could be used for hunting and fishing. My grandparents planed on having a retirment place here for the summer and keeping their place in Fl for the winter.

In 86' my grandfather, 8 months from retiring, got sick and after a 9 month coma, passed away. The land has sat empty since it was purchased.

A few years ago, my grandmother recieved a call from a guy wanting to purchase the land. She wouldn't sell it because my father would still like to build here at some point. Until then you all may search for this cache and enjoy a beautiful set of woods.

If there are any problems you see with the cache as you find and log it, please let me know.

You are searching for an ammo can in a fairly typical hiding fashion.

PLEASE NOTE: I have the deed to this piece of property, regardless of what the locals think. They do not own it, but I guess since it has been empty for so many years they think they do.
