fergus pals: This cache has been muggled by Mother Nature. Ther are at least two, maybe three trees on top of the cache. I spent an hour digging and crawling under the snow searching for the ammo can to no avail. Will check back when spring thaw occurs, but have archived cache as it is unreachable.

Geocache Description:

A walk along the lake through the Kearney Lake Trail system.

This is a 3 waypoint plus cache multi that follows a rugged but well used trail along the lake. All waypoints are near the trail and only WP2 and the cache require minor bushwacking. Allow approximately one hour to complete the round trip. Even after heavy rains the week cache was placed, the path was dry. Please Do notremove Waypoint lables. The duplicate labels at each waypoint are a Preventive maintenance feature of cache. WP1- typical WP2- if you are the type that finds the hard way in and easy way out (like us), this is for you. WP3- wanders so study spoiler pic. Cache -there is easy access the right way so please do not tear away cammo surrounding cache. Thanks to the three other cachers who introduced us to this trail system. Be sure to visit their caches while you are here; Kilkearney Cache, Nathan's Cache, As Seen on TV Cache.
