A quick climb up the old ski hill in Lively to a scenic lookout.
New Location Further from Casual Traffic - If you notice an error, sent me the coordinates that you read.
Still a popular spot in the winter for kids in Lively, the Lively Ski Hill, or Old Baldy as it is called by some, once lied abandon to serve as a memory of a better time, but now has been rejuvnated and given new life by a group of dedicated volunteers and the City. It is a popular summer destination in many training routines. This 45 m climb is just the ticket to raise the heart rate. View from the top is fabulous. Lots of stacks, water towers and head frames. On a clear day, Silver Peak is prominent at 198 deg. Parking can be found at N46 25.928 W81 08.577. Routes to the top are varied - Gentle green to the left, or double black diamond if you climb under the rope tow. Cache is a plastic jar with a green lid, hidden under a few stones.
