Geocache Description:

Tour the Aeneas Valley in an area of few caches. Excellent fishing and hunting in season. You're looking for a 4x4 inch Lok-n-Lok box. Excellent primitive camping. Good gravel roads, except for spring time when they get muddy.

Cache is located at a deer camp along the West Fork of the Sanpoil River. This is a popular deer hunting area from mid Oct-Nov. You'll see several signs in the tree near the cache declaring this site "claimed" Many of these deer camps are used yearly by the same hunters and they become very possesive of their hunting grounds.

Access via HWY 21 via Gold Creek and the Aeneas Valley Rd from the east, or off HWY 20 from the west. From the west pavement ends and turns into FS Rd. 3115. You'll need to turn at a short side road marked 205. If you come in from the west you'll pass 3 excellent fishing lakes. Long Lk. Round Lk and El Lk. There's a cache at Round Lake, so be sure to grab that one.

Please be discrete if anyone is camped in the area. This area should be avoided opening weekend of the general deer season. That occurs about the second weekend in Oct. Any other time you'll see very few people and you can enjoy this pretty valley.
