Geocache Description:

The Two-way Toots series consists of 2 main caches and 2 bonus caches, all situated in the beautiful Essex countryside between Toot Hill and North Weald. The Tree Trail follows a broadly circular route for around 2.5 miles.

This cache forms part of the Two-way Toots series of four related caches:

Suggested parking is at the end of Mill Lane, but you could just as easily park in Toot Hill village. The co-ordinates listed above are NOT the cache location. The Tree Trail and the Train Trail are back-to back circular routes taking in stunning views of the local countryside. Finding either one of these enables you to find Three for the price of Toot as the coordinates are contained in within each.
To find Two-way Toots: Trophy Treasure you need to have visited all the other three, as each one contains partial coordinates for this bonus cache.

Hawker HurricaneThe Tree Trail takes you through woodland alongside Seven Springs Lake, along the crest of a hill with an excellent view over North Weald Airfield (once the home of several squadrons of Hawker Hurricanes , who played a vital role in the Battle of Britain), through High Wood with some amazing trees and wildlife, and along part of the Essex Way symbolEssex Way where you can see for miles and miles across the Essex countryside.

This is a small cache: a green military decontamination container. It contains the coordinates of Two-way Toots: Three for the price of Toot, and partial coordinates for Two-way Toots: Trophy Treasure, as well as a log book. Please do not overload with swap items as the lid is not lockable.
