A fairly challenging three stage multi cache hidden in Silas Condict Park in Kinnelon, NJ. Allow at least one hour. "Craig" is a Gaelic translation for rock.
Stages 1 & 2 contain the coord's for the next stage. The difficulty/terrain ratings of the three stages are as follows:
Stage 1: (1/1). Mainly a "placeholder" to get the parking coord's into your GPSr for your hike back from the cache. Beware of seasonal muggles.
Stage 2 : (2.5/2). 1,060 ft from stage 1. Stage 2 is adjacent to a very nice picnic area overlooking the lake.
Stage 3: (2/3). 920 ft from stage 2. Stage 3 is where the booty is at, in a retired 7.62mm ammo box. Included are the usual kids swagger and a bunch of identical CD's of 19 tracks of contemporary Irish music compiled together by a friend of mine for a St. Patrick's Day party we had this year. Hope you enjoy. I will try to restock them periodically. PLEASE - no spoilers or photos of stages 1 or 2 and completely rehide/cover the cache. Thanks for visiting and enjoy this great park and it's other fine caches!
A trail map for the park is available here.
