Geocache Description:

This is themed cache. Please ensure all your trade items are some sort of school supply. Container was initially filled with pencils, pens, compass, protractor, rulers and a first to find reward (Coloma School Forest T-Shirt). Most of the hike is on established trails. Last few hundred feet off the beaten path. Small children should have no problem. You will be looking for an ammo can painted black.

Great place for a picnics, lots of informational trails to enjoy. The school forest was first trees planted in the 1930's. Each year the students of the local school add to this beautiful site which now has an amphitheater, picnic shelter, and trails marked for each type of tree, ie. Conifer Trail, Deciduous Trail Etc. Come and Enjoy.
