The trail is a fire road, with parking outside the gate. The terrain is mostly on the road, until you get near the cache. You will then need to go off the trail. Adjusted Coordinates N 39 01.474, W 120 08.725
This cache is a re-plant of Tahoma Trove. The items from Tahoma Trove are: a feather in a plastic bag, a yellow airplane and a marble.
The cache is now in a small, plastic container. The additional contents include: a notepad and pen, FishHead Travel Bug, string of beads, bandaids, hand warmer, and Homewood Mtn Resort lapel pin.
After we planted the cache, we back-tracked to the Desolation Wilderness fork, and located the "You Lied" cache.
This cache should be accessible in winter, as long as you have snowshoes or x-country skis.
