Another cache on the trails of the Hollenbeck Canyon area.
The cache is a small ammo can hidden off a trail in the Hollenbeck canyon area. If you park in the parking lot at the start of Honey Springs road then it is just over 2 miles to the cache site. Due to some steep areas off to one side of the trail I personally would not attempt this cache at night. When I made the hide I did it by mountain bike and was able to ride pretty much the entire trail but you are a bit exposed at times. Please use caution. Walking during daylight should be fairly easy. The area does allow hunting at various times during the year but I think it is restricted to shotguns. All the hunters that I have come into contact with have been friendly and aware of gun safety. I haven't run into anyone playing the theme song from Deliverance on a banjo but be on the lookout.
