This cache is located at Red Knolls, West of Pima.
This is a very small cache,(about the size of a pill box.) Be prepared to be challenged. THIS IS NOT AN EASY FIND!
Expect steep and difficult terrain. It is not suggested that you try to find this cache after dark as there are pits, holes and drop offs in the area. Likewise this cache is not suitable for young children. You need to be VERY, VERY Cautious in this area. Do not be suprised if it takes multiple attempts to find this cache. If after 1 or 2 tries you have not found it, Email Team Dingle for clues.
Bring a pencil! There is a first to find prize taped to the bottom of the cache.
Red Knolls is one of the most amazing places in the Gila Valley. The knolls are remains of a huge lake bed from over 100,00 years ago. (Hence the name - Bottom of the Ocean) Sediment was compacted and a cap of limestone now covers the top. The Calcium Carbonate disolves as water drips down creating pockets or "caves".
