This is a very short walk, barely more than a cache and dash but the views obtained considerably outweigh the energy required to get there.
Starting from what looks like a green valley in the middle of the countryside, after only a few metres the Tay estuary springs into view with Dundee and Angus beyond on the opposite shore. As you climb the ridge the view to the west just gets better and better. When you reach the top, watch out for the exposed rock surfaces, they can be very slippery in wet conditions. This area is used for rearing game birds so dogs must be kept on a leash. The container is a small lock and lock so small swaps only please. Roadside parking is available at N56 23.012, W3 4.781 but please don't block the gates.
