Hike along the 1.3 mile Paul Stock Nature Trail in sight of downtown Cody along the Shoshone River. It will provide exceptional views of the river and canyon with glimpses of Heart, Rattlesnake, Cedar and Carter Mountains. Altitude is 4,872'
From Sheridan Ave. in Cody, turn North onto 16th St. and drive about 1/2 of a mile until you see the sign for WY 120. Turn left onto WY 120 and continue until you reach River View Dr. If you are coming from Powell, take Bighorn Ave. into Cody and turn right onto WY 120. Turn left onto River View Dr. Continue straight down River View Dr. to the end of Spruce Dr., here you reach the parking area for the entrance of the Paul Stock Nature Trail. Park your car and hike west on the trail. The container is a clear, round rubbermaid container. It includes a logbook, pen, pencil, and trade items.
