UPDATE 11/19/2005 - PLEASE READ:
We will be hiking on approved trails only, and will come as close
to the final location with out leaving the trail. This event was
approved by the parks department, under the condition that NO ONE
goes off the approved trails. IF YOU ATTEND, AND DECIDE TO GO OFF
THE TRAILS, YOUR LOG WILL BE DELETED! Please follow the rules of
the park, so that we can continue to have a good relationship with
the San Antonio Parks Department.
Come join us for a moment of silence to honor the late Mr. James
Max Chamberlain, who passed away doing what he enjoyed most....
GEOCACHING!

Just realized, after reading the article in the "San Antonio
Express News" and seeing the photo of the log book, that my son
Joseph and I had logged our find just above Mr. Chamberlain's
incomplete log. I got chills.... and goosebumps all over...... so I
figured that I had to do do something in his honor!
The posted coordinates will take you to a location, near the
parking lot, where we will meet before taking a hike to Mr.
Chamberlain's final cache location. Make sure to come prepared for
the hike.
