Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us (via email) when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

B2K. Bennet 2000.

This geocache is to commemorate Bennet on finding 2000 geocaches.
Its been 22 months and 25 days since Bennet found his first geocache, a virtual, No Longer Beneath the Native Landscape.
Since then he has overcome many milestones and obstacles.
Of those 2000 finds, more than 450 he has been first to find. After awhile someone, I'm not sure who, coined the term IBB, or I Beat Bennet. For awhile everyone was starting to get ticked with Bennet snagging FTF's in their own backyard. To me, that's determination, and dedication to the game. He's got skill. When he gets back in town from Ohio, I'm always receiving calls from him asking to see if there are any unfound caches that he can get on his way home.

Bennet is an unusual character. He can always find time to go look search for a geocache. Whether it be after his sons' soccer games, leaving working early or waking at 5am. If he can make time, then he is out there looking.

His logs are most always quirky, running off topic about weather, sports, or some other subject to make you go 'Huh?'. His logs are descriptive of his finds, talking about everything from how he liked it, to the little burrs that attach themselves to your socks. Not just posting TNLNSL or TFTC.

That's what makes Bennet, Bennet.

At the last LAMGCB event in White Settlement, you could tell that the room had got brighter once Bennet arrived. I even heard one person go, "Thats Bennet? Whoa!"

Everyone knows Bennet, even the newbies.

He even has his own folder in our email account

Over the summer, he put out a cache series(Bicycle Trail) that had 30+ caches in it. I had never heard of that many in a series. I have yet to complete them all.

If this were a cache by Bennet it would print onto about 4 or 5 pages.

Over the summer I went to New Mexico for about 2 and a half months. I would get calls from Stephanie, saying that "Bennet called. He was wondering how you were." or "Bennet was worried about you becuase you haven't logged into gc.com in awhile." He talked everyday to Stephanie, just to say hi sometimes. You see, I was pretty much dead to the world those 2.5 months, backpacking with a bunch of different people with not much civilizaation around. I was surprised that he took the time to check up on Stephanie while I was gone. It was mucho appreciated.

Onto the cache.
You are looking for an ammo can inside, stuff with various items. There is a 5 pound weight inside, please do not take this item, it is there to keep the ammo can in place. Also do not untie the cache from its location, there is enough room for you to manuever the can around.
