Ammo box hidden atop Cavanal, the World's Highest Hill. You must
step over an old, fallen barbed wire fence to reach it. Bring your
own pen, just in case. I think I forgot to put one in the cache!
PLEASE REMEMBER, never leave scented items, candles, or crayons
in a cache!
The top of Cavanal Hill can be reached using US 59/271 to Poteau,
Oklahoma. If you are using US 59/271 into the city of Poteau, you
will need to find Hughes Drive on the north end of town. Go West on
Hughes Drive(about 0.5 miles) till it makes a T in front of the
elementary school. Turn left and go south to the next stop sign at
the intersection with Witteville Drive. Turn right onto Witteville
Drive. Follow this road to the top of Cavanal.
