Hi,

It has been over 2 weeks since I last contacted you. Due to the lack of response toward my last note I am archiving the cache at this time. If you should happen to make the necessary corrections feel free to contact me via my profile and I will be glad to unarchive the cache and take another look at it for publishing.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

***** NIGHT CACHE *****

The Adventure Kids wanted their first cache to be an adventure... so here it is.

This cache must be done at night, as the last stretch requires you to follow the forest fireflies. Because of the fear factor, tots and big babies are advised to stay at home.

The journey begins by following the haunted trails to the above coordinates. Here another set of coordinates will be found with a little determination. With this information, take a terrifying stroll down the trails, to a location where you may spot your first forest firefly. Do not leave the trail until you spot the first firefly. Once you have spotted the firefies in the trees, follow them and see where they take you. Consider yourselves warned!!!

This was originally planned as a Halloween cache, those who get to it soon, should have pacemakers handy. It contains a nest of creepy critters. Terrifying trade items preferred. No food treats, please. The cache size is approx. 4"x6"x10".

Plan on about 20 minutes walking and maybe another 30 for finding and logging. Even though I averaged the first coordinates for 30 minutes, the trees mess with the GPSr. Test runs on various days have made it evident that you want to walk slowly as you get close.

If you do have little ones, and would like to visit the nest in the daytime, email us and we'll gladly send you the final co-ordinates. After all, caching should be fun for everyone!

Note: During the winter, some trails become skidoo trails, traffic caution advised. All clues will be available but the cache may be hard to find with more than 1 or 2 feet of snow.
