Geocache Description:

Another fairly easy cache by me.

This cache is located on the grounds of an old school house that is just about half way between Titusville and Meadville. A good place to park would be on the edge of the dirt road across the street. The coordinates will put you in the field so to find the cache from there all you have to do is smell the “Pine fresh scent”. The school was built in 1925, and was for grades one through six. It was closed after 31 years of service in 1956. There were three-rooms in the school. Kids who went to school here walked or were brought by bus or buggy. A large coal furnace in the basement heated it. Many of the neighbors that are still living in the area went to school here. There was a small ball field next to the schoolhouse at one time. After it was closed down it was used for a Four H meeting hall for a short time. Then it was converted into a living house and the present occupants have lived there for 20 years and are the ones who have given permission for the cache to be placed here.
