This is the 77th "bottle" cache in the "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" series. For a history of the song, see GCPEME.
David is the younger brother of Tim. He has been on many geocaching adventures with me, but currently doesn't keep a separate list of his finds. David is also an accomplished musician, having played in the School Marching Band for seven years. He also plays the piano and plays in our church bell choir; also trumpet in the School bands (like his father and grandfather). David is also a good student and takes several advanced classes. He has developed into a good fisherman and accompanies me on my boat fishing for Perch, Walleye, and Steelhead. He and his cousin Jesse like all things “Star Wars” and “Lord of the Rings” and has particularly enjoyed the themed caches relating to these books. For all this and more I lift a bottle to David.
This cache is a quick, easy find except in the winter months when the gate just past the boro pond is closed, since there is no winter maintenance on these roads. The road then becomes a great ATV and cross-country ski trail.
The site of the cache was formerly the boro garbage dump in less enlightened times 50 plus years ago. The artifact at the site, and my relationship to it, is explained inside the cache container. Please "double cover" this cache as it is often found by muggles. Swag of any value is discouraged
For directions to the Girard Boro Park see "Elk Valley Cache" GC5365.
