Hanscom Hangar Surprise
While assisting a friend in cleaning out his new company premises,
a hangar that was previously maintained by the US Air Force, we
came across a locked room with a sign with the word “Mogul” on the
door. Upon jimmying the door open, we noticed only a single box in
the center of the 8x10 foot room. The box was labeled with the
following name and address:
J. Marcel Jr.
S-2
Dexter, NM 88230.
The return address label was from Sears, Robuck & Co.
Someone had also written “wreckage debris” in magic marker on the
box.
Inside the box we found all kinds of strange stuff. Small beams
about three eighths or a half inch square with some sort of
hieroglyphics on them. These looked something like balsa wood, and
were of about the same weight, except that they were not wood at
all. They were very hard, although flexible, and would not burn.
There was a great deal of unusual parchment-like substance which
was brown in color and extremely strong, and a great number of
small pieces of a metal like tinfoil, except that it wasn't
tinfoil.
There was also one piece of reflective metal foil, two feet long
and a foot wide, that is so durable that it cannot be dented with a
sledgehammer, despite its being incredibly light.
Upon further investigation, we determined that a piece of the
parchment-like substance had quite a bit of hieroglyphics on it.
With the use of a computer and a bit of reflection, we were able to
translate the alien looking fonts and make an incredible
discovery….. You can too if you determine what we did. Good
luck!
