Terrain is pretty flat whatever route you take. Nice hard paths until you reach canal where it becomes a small track and a little overgrown.
Cache is situated on the edge of Southfield Reservoir, next to the Aire and Calder Navigation. Best day to visit would probably be a Sunday has there is normally a number sailing boats on the Reservoir.
Container is quite small, about twice the size of a 35mm canister so will only hold small swaps. Inside there is a number of puzzles which will give you something to do on the walk back.
What else can I say except 'Don't take the short route.'
