Geocache Description:

A short walk from the Parking area at Conway Station.

Directions:
Route 116 to Conway Center. Turn onto Shelburne Falls Road. Bear right at the fork onto Bardwells Ferry Road. Turn Right onto Conway Station Road. Park in the area of N 42 32.564 and W 072 39.619. Follow the old railroad bed. This is an easy flat walk.

This is a 500 acre state park called South River Station. There used to be a trolley line and railway here as well as an electric power station.

You may want to check out the 100 steps at the pavillion which is located on the right as you come in before the parking area. Climb down the steps to the old dam on the South river.

In the winter Station Road is closed off to become a snowmobile trail.

This is our first cache. We took some time to make sure the coordinates are accurate. We waited until we found 30 caches before attempting to place our own.

As we were filling the container we noticed that most of our items were green. That's how we got the idea to place items that have the color green in this cache. There is a FTF treasure as well as some other fun items. Enjoy.
