The Coordinates will take you to the front of
Russell’s Oil Patch Museum. The cache can be found anytime as
the oil patch yard is always open. The Gate should be open.
It would be best to do this geocache during daylight
hours.
The museum is open Memorial Day Weekend through
Labor Day Weekend, Sunday through Saturday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM or by
appointment (785) 483-3637 or (785)483-6960.
At the Coordinates you will find oil bits
attached to the top of the gate poles..

Memorial stones by the building (each has a member of the Shields
family) plus the number of letters in the word on the sign on top
of the building behind them.
Now just “Mark” your GPS and head off on the
listed heading for the listed number of feet..They should be close
enough to get you there or real close anyway.
Go 140 feet on a heading of 320° and find the
info sign that says “Pump & Well Head”

barrels of oil per 97 barrels of salt water.

letters in the word on the diamond shape sign with “S” just north
of the pump.
Go 220 feet on a heading of 200° and find the
Cardwell Mobil Pulling Unit

side of the Cardwell Mobil Unit Vehicle (the front)..what is the
number of closed (unbroken) windows (including windshield) and
unbroken headlight bulbs?

letters in the name of the Engine powering the Mobil Unit (on info
sign) plus 1

There you will find the cache. The container is a
painted ammobox containing a geopaper, logbook, pen, and pencil,
and various trading items. Please replace container where and as
