En el pico La Concha, desde el Refugio de Juanar. Larga subida de
unos 8 km por las crestas de la montaña, altitud 1200 metros. / In
the peak “La Concha” (the Shell), from the Refuge of
Juanar. Long ascent of about 8 km near the crests of the mountain,
altitude 1200 meter.

Popularmente conocida como "La Concha", esta
hermosa montaña, con sus imponentes líneas y volúmenes protege la
ciudad, extendiéndose luego en cadena hasta el pueblecito de Ojén,
sobre el cual se haya el paraje natural de "Juanar", con sus montes
cubiertos de pinos, pinsapos, nogales, una extensa vegetación que
incluye orquídeas salvajes y un hábitat animal con ejemplares de
cabra hispánica, águilas y búhos reales. En una de las partes más
altas está enclavado el mirador, desde donde se contempla una de
las vistas más espectaculares de Marbella y su entorno natural.

Después de unas dos horas de subida no muy dura,
pero con algunas partes complicadas, pasamos por la cresta de la
montaña, lo que supone andar por rocas que en algunas ocasiones
pueden resbalar, en otras ocasiones tendréis que pasar por
estrechos senderos y potencialmente peligrosos por el barranco que
tenemos a nuestros pies. Llegamos al pico La Concha y en el lado
del pantano bajando unos metros, en la base de una gran roca,
oculto con piedras encontrareis el tesoro.
El tesoro es un tupperware con la tapa roja y cubierto con una
bolsa negra muy resistente. En su interior, muchos regalos, el
libro de visitas y bolígrafo. Espero que disfrutéis de esta
preciosa subida.

Popularly well-known as “The Shell “
(La Concha), this beautiful mountain, with its imposing lines and
volumes, protects the city, extending in the mountain range until
the village of Ojén . Here the natural park of “Juanar”
is situated, with its mounts covered with pines, conifers, walnuts;
an extensive vegetation that includes wild orchids and an animal
habitat with Spanish goats, eagles and owls.
On one of the highest parts a viewpoint is
situated, from where one of the most spectacular views of Marbella
and its natural surroundings are contemplated.

After two hours of a not too hard ascent, however
with some complicated parts, we pass through the crest of the
mountain. We walk by rocks that in some occasions can be slippery,
elsewhere you will have to pass through narrow and potentially
dangerous footpaths and through the precipe which we have on our
feet.
We arrive at the peak “The Shell”and
in the side of the marsh, a few meters lower, at the base of a big
rock, hidden with stones, you will find the stash.

The stash is a tupper box with a red cover, it is
covered with a strong, black bag.
It contains many gifts, the visitor logbook and a
ballpoint.
