Geocache Description:

Dooeys Carn. An easy cache with access for all including small children

Unfortunately the cache was removed during grass cutting. I have replaced it 20 meters from the original spot The cache is placed just outside the perimeter of the fenced off area of Dooey’s cairn. This is a court grave which is estimated to be about 3000 years old and was first excavated in 1935. There is a detailed description of what was found during excavations on an information board at the site. I had great difficulty in finding a suitable location!
