Cache is hidden at Hasselroth Dog Park in Rock Island (yes, this is actually R.I. and not Milan)! Some slopes, pathes, paved parking...you'll visit it all, but it is easily navigated.
This is a multi-cache that is dog theme related, so please only trade dog (or other pet related items, can't leave out the other loving pets!!) items. Do not place the following itesm in cache: food, alcohol, firearms, drugs, dangerous items or adult-only items.
Final is a very large ammo can (who knew they came this large!), please take care in replacing as it can be seen if not put back carefully.
Original contents include: automatic leashes, tennis balls, squeky toys, raw hide treats, tug toy, dog brush, catnip toys and jingle balls. Also, if you bring your dog along, please feel free to utilize one of the Bow Wow Doggie Bags to pick up any messes your little friend may try to leave.
**Dog park area may be closed on occasion for maintenance (seeding). However, this will not affect the cache. You will still be able to access parking and all locations needed.
**Dog park is a short distance from I-280 and a great location to let your four legged travelers stretch their legs, too.
**There is still PLENTY of room in this cache for larger doggie toys!
**Some parts may be hard to find (unless you have Corky along), but this cache will be VERRRRRRRRRYYYY hard to access when muggles are around... and that is often! Softball season, may also prove to be more of a challenge.
**Lastly, I did averages on each spot with my trustly ETREX (I say trusty, because the darn thing has never gotten better than 15 feet accuracy). Please, feel free to email me if you get better readings and I will update (i.e. don't post)! Comments appreciated as this is my first cache I have placed!
