Here is a bookmark list of the 10 you will need so you can keep track. I suggest using the “Personal geocache note” section to collect your clues for the future.
The cache is NOT located at the listed coordinates. This is a multi-cache involving 10 parts. To find out the proper coordinates, first you must seek out the 10 cartoon characters and collect coordinates to the final cache location. Depending on where you start, the final mountain hike/ride can be roughly 5-8 miles one way. A mountain bike is a great idea. Do you love the mountains?!Good Luck!!
Each log sheet has one alphabetical letter and one coordinate you will need, written in green felt pen. Replace the letters here with the numbers you find in green:
North 34 AB.CDE West 118 FG.HIJ.
We placed this cache on Richard's (Mountain Lovers) birthday as a gift to all of our caching friends.
This series began in 2005 as a series of 19 caches with clues hidden throughout the San Gabriel Valley using a variety of micro containers. As of June 2018, it has been revamped into a more adopted-CO-manageable 10. All of the caches are easily accessible by car with only a short walk. They are not intended to be difficult or even very tricky. Just fun hides.
The character caches in this play are family friendly. Most, not all, are wheelchair accessible. All 10 clue caches can be found in a circuit of a couple of hours. Please be sure to re-hide each cache as you found it or better!! In most cases, you need to bring your own pen, pencil or stickers. Sorry Max, NO crayons!!! :) To find the this cache location you must put all the clues together....then your journey BEGINS!!!!
If you make it to the final cache, your trip will be well worth it. In keeping with our desire to reward those that seek out, the cache has been very well stocked!! You are looking for a ammo box!! Before you log your find, you must e-mail the CO with the word taped to the inside top of the cache container.
