Code Word: Pen in Hat
So, as I sit here on the first of eight (8) weeks sitting here, I thought I'd activate this here cache that has been hidden for quite some time.
The title has nothing to do with the cache. Someone knows what its for. They know who.
For those that don't know, I broke my foot a little over a week ago after finishing up with a cache downtown during my lunch hour.
I landed on my right ankle awkwardly, letting my foot rotate outward ninety (90) degrees, thus breaking a few bones here and there.
I spent the first week of November in the hospital, finally receiving surgery on Thursday. Got me a cool metal plate and about six (6) screws to boot. They gave me this awesome split to wear until the 10th. That day I get to go get that taken off and replaced with a sweet cast. Not sure of the color yet. The cast gets to stay on for two (2) weeks until I get to finally be in this black walking boot/base thing, which looks like a ski boot on 'roids. The boot gets to be worn for four (4) weeks. Sometime during those last four (4) weeks I get one of the screws taken out. The long screw. The screw that is screwed through both the tibia, fibula, and some other bone down there.
The fibula is the main bone that broke. There was a long spiral fracture and a clean break, both close to the ankle.
Metatarsals were fractured as well but when the doc's repositioned my foot back together, so did they. They should heal as well during this eight (8) week period.
During this down time I have, look for a nice website with loads of pictures from this past summer, and a new crochet(what old woman do, not that boring sport) line of products.
...
This cache itself is a small metal lunch box with various things in it(frankly, I have no clue what's in it as the cache has been hidden for well over a month), and of course a logbook and pen.
...
Random crap:
Did you know that SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS from the movie Mary Poppins is not the longest word in English, although many people believe it is.
