The coordinates above aren't the cache location...this is a
projection/offset cache....
This cache is located in a small urban greenspace that contains
a wonderful piece of Surrey history. Unfortunately, it also appears
to be an area often frequented by garbage wielding youth, so if you
visit, maybe do a little CITO if possible.
First, head to the posted coordinates. They will lead you to a
memorial plaque placed by the city to commemorate the
identifcation/protection of The Heritage Tree - a gigantic Douglas
Fir in the middle of suburbia - just off the main walking trail.
From the plaque, walk about 40 meters at around 90 degrees and
check it out - it should be hard to miss!! Once you've visited the
tree, proceed about 60 meters at around 327 degrees (from the tree)
to find the cache. It is a 350mL cammo Lock&Lock which
originally contained: a logbook and pencil, a keychain measuring
tape and some plastic bag closer things. Small trade items
only.
